Happy Father’s Day – Pandemic Edition

by Sonya Leung June 19, 2020
written by Sonya Leung June 19, 2020

Sunday, June 21 is Father’s Day! As we all prepare to celebrate at a safe distance and virtually, some of us here at the library wanted to share a pictures of our Dads.

Doris and Theo at Mount Washington Skiing Alpine Resort.

This is our Pubic Services Librarian Doris Wagner with her Dad, Theo, back in 2014. This lovely picture was taken at Mount Washington Skiing Alpine Resort on Vancouver Island. Since Theo lives in BC and Doris here in Alberta their Father’s Day celebration will happen virtually.

Junelle and Jun eating salad with chopsticks.

Here’s Information Services Specialist Junelle Mah and her Dad, Jun, each enjoying a refreshing salad.

Collage of pictures of Chris and Rob.

This is Information Systems Specialist Christopher Bateman and his Dad, Rob. Also pictured is Rob’s other child, Snoopy.

Eva and Ivan holding drinks and smiling for the camera.
And, here’s Information Services Specialist and fellow @uofalibrary blogger, Eva Romanick, with her Dad, Ivan, enjoying a work Christmas party in 2019… just mention “Christmas” & “Party “and Eva will invite herself.

Sonya and Yan on a video call.
This is me, Sonya Leung, on a video call with my Dad, Yan. My Dad is quite handy and is always willing to fix things around my house. This call was for Yan to get a visual of my broken fence. Thanks Dad!
